Melting Ice

Iceland’s ancient glaciers melt slowly,
transforming into waterfalls that
tumble from the mountains like rivers of memory. Their waters feed blue lagoons where white icebergs drift, fragments of
eternity that rest upon black volcanic beaches, shining like diamonds against the ocean.
Nearby, geysers burst toward the sky and fumaroles rise from fields of black lava cloaked in green,
reminding us that beneath the earth’s stillness,
fire continues to beat. Everything in this landscape speaks of transformation.
Ice becomes water, rock becomes sand, steam becomes rain. Nothing truly disappears; everything changes.
It is a metaphor for life. For the invisible force that keeps us flowing. For the light that endures within darkness.
For the fire that still burns beneath the ice. Because the true power of nature is not to resist change, but to transform it into beauty.
And love, like this land of fire and ice, is the miracle of continuing to shine while transforming.
